John Sandlin founded Clarendon Properties in 2008. As president, he is involved in all aspects of Clarendon’s business including locating, analyzing and recommending potential opportunities for commercial development. He brings an extensive background in commercial real estate development, finance, asset and operations management. John uses his experience as an owner and investor in several commercial income property projects and experience in financing, equity sourcing and transaction structuring to deliver the successful results Clarendon is known for. He has developed numerous retail projects, dental offices and hotels (primarily Hilton and Marriott).
Gale Wallace joined Clarendon Properties, LLC in 2012 and has over 30 years of real estate experience. She has an extensive property management and construction background, is a Certified Property Manager and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. This diverse experience allows her to review and negotiate leases, purchase agreements and development contracts, assist in site selection and research, coordinate and assist in the design of the hotels and medical offices. She is heavily involved in the oversight of the many facets of project development including construction, FF&E purchasing and installation.
PROJECT MANAGER/ BROKER
Jack Sandlin joined Clarendon Properties, LLC in the Summer of 2021. He graduated from NC State’s Poole College of Management with a finance degree and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before joining the firm.
In his role as project manager, Jack works closely with each member of the Clarendon team to service bidding, contracts, site selection, monitoring development budgets and more. He has worked extensively to grow his knowledge of different hotel brands as well as his understanding of FFE ordering and facilitation.
As a native to Wilmington, Jack is involved with the First Tee of Greater Wilmington and assists with fundraising and marketing/communications to help children in the community build character and life skills through golf.
Lisa Morris joined Clarendon Properties, LLC in 2019 as Operations Manager and
brought with her 25+ years of Business Operations Management, Financial
Administration, and Customer Service experience. Most recently, prior to joining
Clarendon, she worked for a commercial real estate firm in Wilmington as Closing
Coordinator for all purchases and leases, as well as handled their operating and
trust account financials.
In her role as Operations Manager at Clarendon, Lisa’s main responsibilities
center around financial oversight for project budgets and monthly reporting,
however, her great range of experience makes her a valuable asset to Clarendon’s hotel and retail development where she has assisted with reviewing leases,
purchase agreements, and development contracts.
Anna Frazier Sandlin
MARKETING & PR; OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Anna Frazier Sandlin joined Clarendon Properties, LLC in the Summer of 2020 to head up social media marketing and public relation initiatives. A graduate of NC State’s College of Textiles with a creative background, brand management and graphic design come second nature.
While Anna Frazier’s initial interest was to increase Clarendon’s virtual footprint, she also hopes to use her position to help the Clarendon team get more involved in the Greater Wilmington Community through humanitarian efforts.
